The valve plug of the needle valve is needle-like, and the seal between the valve stem and the seat is realized through the bellows, which can move along the direction of the water flow and change the area of the flow break, so as to adjust the flow rate. Needle valve has the advantages of high adjustment precision, good wear resistance, simple structure and flexible operation. Due to its special structure and working principle, the needle valve has a good linear adjustment ability and can fine-adjust the flow rate in a small range.



Needle valve seats are usually made of soft materials, such as tin, copper, etc., to ensure sealing performance. The seal between the stem and the seat is achieved by bellows. When regulating the flow, the control needle is gradually inserted or withdrawn from the seat by rotating the valve stem to control the flow of the fluid.

The valve is needle-shaped and moves along the flow direction to change the flow area and is used to cut off or regulate the flow rate of the valve. Needle valve is a kind of fine tuning valve, its spool is needle shape, mainly used to adjust the gas flow. The fine-tuning valve requires the opening of the valve port to gradually increase, and the opening degree can be continuously adjusted slightly from close to open. This function can be achieved through a needle valve plug. The needle valve plug is generally made of hardened steel long needle, while the seat is made of soft materials such as tin and copper. The sealing between the needle and the seat is achieved by the tight fit of its cone. The taper of the valve needle has 1:50 and 60 taper angles, and the cone surface should be finely ground.
