What Is A Vacuum Valve

 What Is A Vacuum Valve?

Vacuum valve is a rubber or metal valve specially used to control and regulate the vacuum flow, mainly used to change the direction of the air flow, adjust the size of the gas flow, cut off or connect the vacuum system components of the pipeline.

Vacuum valve has the characteristics of good exhaust performance, preventing gas flow, improving system safety, etc., and is widely used in petrochemical industry, metallurgical machinery industry, nuclear industry and other fields.

The vacuum valve also includes an electric high vacuum butterfly valve, which drives the valve stem to drive the disc plate to realize the valve opening, closing or intermediate position control, so as to achieve the purpose of connecting or cutting off the air flow in the vacuum pipe.

Some specific vessels will need to install a vacuum valve, and the ventilation piping system on a liquid cargo ship needs to install a vacuum valve as an automatic closing device for the air pipe. When there is a vacuum in the system, the vacuum valve will automatically open to maintain the pressure balance and stability of the system.
