  What Is Stern Shaft Covering Sleeve? The stern shaft covering sleeve  is a device that protects the stern shaft of a ship, usually installed at the tail of the ship, covering the stern  shaft . Its main function is to prevent the tail shaft from being corroded and worn by water and other substances, thus extending the service life of the tail shaft.   Cycloid Reducer Features Cycloid reducer  has the following characteristics: Compact structure and small size:  due to the use of planetary transmission principle, the input shaft and output shaft are on the same axis line, so that the model can be as small as possible. ​ High transmission efficiency, low noise:  cycloidal needle tooth meshing multi-tooth contact, the contact stress is smaller than the straight tooth cylindrical gear, so the  bearing  life is longer when used.
